What is a cat net?

With an electric cat net, you can create a protected free run for your cat in the garden and thus no longer have to confine your velvet paw.

An electric net is much more herd-proof than a conventional garden fence, because thanks to the electrification and the tight meshes, your cat cannot squeeze through the fence or climb over it. In addition, the mesh closes flush with the ground and slipping through is effectively prevented.

When is an electric cat fence useful?

An electric fence for cats is especially interesting if you live near a busy street and still don't want to keep your velvet paw as an indoor cat. The protective fence for cats keeps at the same time other animals e.g. strange dogs and cats or wild animals such as foxes, martens or hares effectively away from your property.

Important: Only an electrically powered cat fence offers your cat sufficient protection. A cat fence without electricity is not suitable for house cats, because they can climb over the fence without any problems. Ideally, keep the fence area free of vegetation and mow the lawn at least 1 time per week. Because if the fence is too overgrown, the electrical voltage drops and your cat is no longer safely protected.

In 3 Steps to the right cat fence:

Step 1: Make sure the cat fence is the right height and length

Cat nets are available in 15, 25 or 50 meter lengths and in heights of 106 cm or 112 cm. It doesn't matter which fence height you choose, all models will provide adequate security for your velvet paw. Measure the area to be fenced in advance to determine the right fence length.

Good to know: If you need a longer cat fence, you can also easily connect our cat nets with each other using the integrated metal clips and thus extend them. We also offer electrified cat fence complete sets including a fence energiser and all accessories.

Step 2: Choose the right pile tips for your substrate

Cat fence stakes are distinguished between double spikes and single spikes.

If your ground is earthy or sandy, a double tip is recommended for more stability. If the terrain is rocky, a single tip is easier to insert into the ground.

Step 3: Choose the right accessories for your cat fence

A complete cat fence includes a pasture fencing energiser, fence posts and a cat net. Depending on how you plan to operate the fence and where you use it, different accessories will be needed. These products will fit your cat net:
